I got up and shook the flurry off my denims and my jacket. I walked next to Jacob’s hairy, wolf leg and mounted up onto his back, like a horse. Once he sensed that I grabbed a hold of his back fur he began to move around, not running and not walking. He swung his tail around the inferno and it burnt out. It was way too dark after he did that and could see where he was going, but he was going somewhere. I felt the snowflakes and freezing cold wind fly past my face.
